About Me





Hello my name is Bryce Kusy heres how my photography came about. My photography all started when i was in junior year of high school. At the time my girlfriend was enrolled in a photography class for 35 mm. Those days i wasn't into arts so much as going to the skatepark and hanging with my friends but one day i helped my girlfriend with a shoot and thats when it all began. From there i got a point and shoot camera making the best of my pictures with photoshop. Than came my big purchase i traded my car for yard work on my aunt and uncles house and they bought me my camera in exchange. Once i had my camera i started making the best of what i had and my pictures improved greatly. It wasn't until i got my studio kit that i moved from action shots to portraits. But who knew that wouldn't last long... sooner than later my lights took a dump on me and i was out of choices. After my lights crashed it pushed my photography to continuous lighting and oh man did it heat up! Continuous light was my hardest venture and i quickly moved on to purchasing a lighting system called Alien Bees that i was turned on to by a buddy over the internet. This brought my to where i am now exploring with High Dynamic Range Photography with people and nature. But of course that wasn't the topping to it all it was my brand new D300 from Nikon that would show me what real pictures can look like and my photography took off and became what it is now!
